SCORE CARDSCOMMENTARYWICKETSLINE-UPSMATCH INFO
Afridi: Records will keep coming if we play as well as we did tonight. They started well but I had confidence in my team and everyone contributed to the win. I wish to thank the crowd for coming out in large numbers and supporting us.
McCullum: We fought really hard, but all credit to Pakistan to snatch it away from us. I am proud of the effort the guys put up. 150 was a par score, we almost got there but we lost wickets at regular intervals. To win the ODI series was something significant so we have a lot of positives to take back with us.
Shahid Afridi is the Man of the Series
Umar Akmal is the Man of the Match: Seniors supported me, so that made my job a lot easier. Afridi told me that if I didn't score today, it would be difficult to play me. I spoke to my mom before the game and she gave me the confidence today, so very happy with my peformance.
Pakistan have won 7 consecutive T20 matches, equalling South Africa's record.
Ajmal's spell turned out to be the turning point in the match, his wicket of McCullum turned the scales in their favour. Once he was gone, it was all over for the Kiwis who fall 7 runs short in the end. Pak win the series 2-0. Join us for the presentation shortly.
